I am a final year student of Automotive Engg. department. My university experiences thus far have been amazing. I have learned and experienced so many new things in these 4 years and these have gone really fast. NED UET is a very welcoming place, and from the first day, I felt at home here. I made a lot of new friends from many different backgrounds.

After deciding that I will continue my studies in engineering, only few universities I had my aim on. I got my admission in GIKI but unfortunately I couldn’t move there then it was clear I would be applying in NED. Then the decision regarding discipline was very crucial, well it was made a little easier when I decided to enrolled in the department of Mechanical faculty so I chose Automotive. Few people who have passed from NED, told me to be relax and study well but along with studies, engage yourself in activities which will help you in other aspects, so for me NED was like a new place with many different type of opportunities.

At first, it was quite difficult to handle an immense work load but with time it got better. And now when the last few weeks are remaining, it seems like that NED not only taught about engineering but other aspects of life as well. So the perceptions I had about NED were  changed; you want to get good grades and also participate in the extra-curricular activities, it needs a great deal of time management plus great energy, which I think NED has developed in most of the personals.

In this place, I have made  tons of memories with my new friends and old friends from schools, which might include going to different places even on Pak Tour and being there for each other in the time of need. Every day, we spent at NED, we made memories.

My advice to people joining NED: Learn, study well but also enjoy each day of these 4 years because these are the years won’t be coming back. And also learn to be a better person for the world around you with becoming a good engineer.

Good luck!
